How to Reset Your Password (Students and Instructors)

Your MyCCPS password can be reset through the MyCCPS app or through a web browser. Follow the steps below using your preferred method:


Reset your password from the MyCCPS website

  1. Navigate to https://myccps.centralizedplacements.org/

  2. Click the Forgot Password? link towards the bottom of the page

  3. Enter your email address then click the Reset Password button

  4. In your email inbox, find the email from CCPS with your temporary password

  5. Go back to the MyCCPS website at https://myccps.centralizedplacements.org/ 

  6. Enter your email address and the temporary password. Remember that both your email address and temporary password are case sensitive and must be entered with any capitals as appropriate.

  7. After clicking the Login button, navigate to the Profile icon in the top right

  8. Click Change Password

  9. Enter your temporary password then enter your new password twice

  10. Click Change Password to confirm the change. A success message will appear when your password has successfully been updated.


Reset your password using the MyCCPS app

  1. On the MyCCPS app, tap Forgot Password?


     
  2. Enter your email address then tap Reset Password


     
  3. In your email inbox, find the email from CCPS with your temporary password
  4. Back in the MyCCPS app, enter your email address and the temporary password. Remember that both your email address and temporary password are case sensitive and must be entered with any capitals as appropriate. Tap Login
  5. Once you're signed in, tap the Profile icon in the top right


     
  6. Tap Change Password


     
  7. Enter your temporary password then enter your new password twice
  8. Tap Change Password to confirm the change. A success message will appear when your password has successfully been updated.
